Happy Homemaker Monday

Sandra is hosting Happy Homemaker Monday and I'm joining in.
Here is my list:

On my bedside table: The Bible

On my TV: Nothing. I've watched the news while I was having breakfast but then I turned it off.

On the menu for tonight: I still don't know. When my husband is not at home, I don't cook anything too special because DD doesn't like special menus. And I'll have just soup and fruit.

On my To Do List: Change bed linens, finish putting laundry away, ironing, taking care of a baby, homeschooling....

New Recipe I tried last week: I was too busy to think about new recipes!

In the craft basket: Knitting

Looking forward to: Easter
Homemaking Tip for this week: Check out ChoreBuster, as suggested by Sandra. Great site!

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other): Days at home, by Anna.

Favorite photo from last week: I thought I wouldn't have any photo to share but this morning I received some photos that my brother and sister-in-law sent me. They visited Catarina on Saturday, at the Sunday School Retreat. Yes, she is back and had a wonderful time though she missed her Mum terribly!!! And her Mum missed her, of course!

Lesson learned the past few days: That it is Ok to ask for other people's advice when you have to make an important decision, but that first of all you should ask for God's direction.
On my Prayer List: My family
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses: «It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.» Psalm 118:8

I agree whole heartedly with your lesson - I found it interesting in our sermon yesterday that our pastor commented how often we ask the Lord for help, but then just proceed as if we never did. I need to do better at that!

Have a great week!

That is a great lesson. And one that I continue to have to learn and be reminded of.

Have a great week!:-)

Wonderful list! I love your scripture that you chose as well. It's absolutely true!
