Happy Homemaker Monday

Sandra is hosting the Happy Homemaker Monday once again and I'm joining her.

On my bedside table: The Bible and three new books but I'm not at home now and I can't remember the names. I can just tell you that the one I started reading has to do with obedience. A very good one.

On my TV: Nothing. I'm at my Mum's house right now and she doesn't watch TV at this time of the day.

On the menu for tonight: I still don't know.

On my To Do List: Lots of ironing, menu planning

New Recipe I tried last week: Nothing new.

In the craft basket: I'm knitting a baby's blanket.

Looking forward to: Spring

Homemaking Tip for this week: A very simple one that I saw yesterday at a friend's house. She washes the juice bottles before placing them on the table. I had never thought about doing this but we really don't know where those bottles have been before, so it's much more hygienic.

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other): I didn't have time to read. I'm starting to do it now.

Favorite photo from last week:

Lesson learned the past few days: I could say the same as Sandra, «That no matter how much I try, I can't always protect children from the hardships and horrible things that surround us on a daily basis». Last Wednesday, a taxi driver was robbed and assaulted in front of my house at nine o'clock in the morning.

On my Prayer List: My Mum's recovery, my husband, my daughter.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses: "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love." --1 John 4:18
