I haven't written much about homeschooling lately but today I want to share a homeschooling tip with you. Keep great books lying around. Instead of having all our books kept in their shelves, I've decided to put some good books on a small table we have in our living-room so that we can see them. And when we're sitting on our couch, we just pick one, I read aloud to DD, she asks questions, and it's not a formal thing. It works well with my daughter because she doesn't see it as an obligation. She just sees the books, gets curious and opens them.

For the background, just look at the top left of my blog and you'll see where I get them from. But I'm still learning and trying to do different things. Yesterday, I tried to do a new header with photos on it but with no success. First, I have to learn how to use Photoshop!!!
Great tip and I find myself doing the same, though I don't homeschool :)
It was so nice seeing all those great books in portuguese, I desperately need to get myself some.
