From Passionate Housewives Desperate for God

«Well-meaning people have said that, in our day, we just can't expect all mothers to be at home full-time. I've been told (me too!) that I'm "lucky" to have a husband who makes it possible for me to stay home. I have to wonder how such thinking got a foothold only a few generations after large families were the norm and when the majority of mothers stayed home.
