Quem não conhece Deus verdadeiramente, não tem o incrível privilégio que é termos em nós a Sua força. Há duas situações concretas na minha vida em que algumas pessoas me querem mostrar que é difícil, que é impossível, que isto e mais aquilo. E acham que, ou eu sou masoquista, ou não tenho verdadeira noção da dificuldade das coisas. Nem uma coisa nem outra. É difícil, eu não gosto de sofrer, mas quando Deus está em nós, e quando experimentamos o Seu amor na nossa vida, sentimos uma paz e uma força que realmente excedem todo o entendimento. E custa-me imenso que aqueles que ainda não conhecem Deus, não possam sentir o mesmo que eu. Apetece-me sacudi-los mas sei que tudo tem o seu tempo e só peço a Deus que um dia eles também possam viver com Deus e dizer «Posso todas as coisas n'Aquele que me fortalece».

Vivendo pela fé
No devocional «A Palavra para hoje» da UCB, a palavra hoje é sobre o viver pela fé. É muito fácil vivermos pela fé quando a nossa vida corre bem, quando vemos milagres a acontecerem, quando os desejos do nosso coração se realizam. E quando nada disto está a acontecer? É nessa altura que é mais difícil. Também eu tenho esta dificuldade embora haja uma área da minha vida em que eu estou claramente a viver pela fé, crendo nas promessas de Deus, mas não vendo nada a acontecer. Não é pelo meu esforço que estou a conseguir isto, obviamente. É pela graça de Deus. Mas há alturas em que há uma tentação enorme de dar um «empurrão», uma «ajuda a Deus».
A Bíblia diz, referindo-se aos heróis da fé, «Todos eles morreram na fé, sem terem recebido as promessas; mas, vendo-as de longe, e crendo-as e abraçando-as...» (Hebreus 11:13). Grande desafio este: o de sermos homens e mulheres de fé, crendo verdadeiramente nas promessas de Deus, mesmo que não cheguemos a ver o seu cumprimento durante a nossa estadia aqui na Terra.

Acreditem se quiserem...
No dia 24 de Dezembro, fui ao shopping com a minha filha e ao passar pela florista, ela ficou encantada com as rosas. Juntou as moedas todas que tinha e conseguiu comprar uma, esta que está na foto. Chegámos a casa, colocámos a rosa na jarra, nunca mais lhe mudámos a água e ela durou até hoje, dia 18 de Janeiro!!! Encontrámo-la caída no chão. Manteve-se sempre bonita.

Maldivas
O meu mano e cunhada têm passado estes primeiros dias do ano nas Maldivas! Eu sabia onde ficam as Maldivas mas confesso que nunca tinha lido nada sobre as ditas, talvez porque não seja coisa para o meu bico. Mas sonhar não paga imposto e quando eu for grande, também lá quero ir. Mas como diz a 41ª lição de vida que coloquei hoje aqui no meu blogue: Inveja é perda de tempo. Você já tem tudo o que precisa. E eu não devo precisar de ir às Maldivas! Mas se precisar não me importo. Hehehe! Beijocas mano e cunhadinha lindos. Temos muitas saudades vossas.E por falar em obra de arte...
A filha é artista mas não sai à mãezinha! Andei a mudar o visual ao meu blogue (já repararam???) e encontrei estas rosinhas lindas, mesmo como eu gosto. Eu e a minha Mommy! Mas o cabeçalho tem ali aquele espaço em branco que devia levar alguma coisa. Mas e conseguir fazê-lo??? Ainda consegui escrever umas coisas mas não ficou lá grande espingarda. Hehehe, que falta de jeitinho! Alguém me quer ajudar?
Obra de arte
Andava eu aqui a arrumar as pastas do meu computador (sim, porque eu sou um bocadinho, só um bocadinho, obcecada com a organização) quando descobri esta «obra de arte» (o título não é meu!) feita em computador pela Catarina. A rapariga é artista e nada modesta. É assim mesmo, filha, pensar sempre em grande!
